Mock trial was great, it was really exiting and fun. I think that it was really cool that we got John to come over to TCS and teach us. (Thanks John) I am really appreciative that John could come over here and teach us because he knows what it is like to be in a courtroom. He got a lot of the very important facts out in a short period of time.

Being a lawyer sounds like an interesting life, this is because, as a lawyer you sometimes have to defend someone even though you know/think that they are wrong. Being a lawyer is very formal, lawyers need to know the jury, like if they have an audience that is 99% christian then they probably don’t want to through rude comments about the bible.

Coming prepared and acting nicely gets people places, but being a lawyer is not just about that it is about knowing the jury, the judge, your case, etc. I am not sure if I would like to be a lawyer, my unsureness is because being a lawyer does not sound interesting enough (I am sorry John.)

Overall the trial was great and I would be willing to do it next year, but I don’t think that I am going to be a lawyer when I am older.
